It will take about 15 minutes to an intermediate user to read this document and follow the steps highlighted here.

Required Packages

4PSA Advanced Statistics is the website statistics generator completely integrated in Plesk.

4PSA Advanced Statistics 2.0.0 is packaged in the following installation formats:

  1. RPM packages for RPM capable Linux distributions. Available at http://plesk.4psa.com/downloads/

  2. Shell installer for Debian, Ubuntu and FreeBSD distributions. Available for download in the Clients Area.

  3. Virtuozzo EZ templates for installation on virtualized systems. Available at http://plesk.4psa.com/vz

Installation Steps

RPM Capable Linux Distributions

You can use the installer from the 4PSA web site in order to install 4PSA Advanced Statistics. Be aware that this installer requires Yum, therefore you must have Yum package manager installed on your server.

If you want to install the RPM packages manually (not recommended), then you can download them from here.

Follow the steps below to install the product using 4psapleskinstaller.sh.

  1. Log in to your server using SSH from Linux or Putty from Windows. You have to be logged in as root in order to install the program.

  2. Create a directory named /usr/local/src.

  3. Download the installer by typing:

    wget http://www.4psa.com/software/4psapleskinstaller.sh

    The installation program will be downloaded.

  4. Execute the 4psapleskinstaller.sh installation script by typing:

    sh 4psapleskinstaller.sh

    Next, follow the instructions on screen.

Debian and Ubuntu Distributions

In this case, you must download the 4PSA Advanced Statistics installation script from the Clients area.

Note

If you want to install the engine on the same machine, you must first install the engine and then execute the 4PSA Advanced Statistics installer.

Follow the instructions below to install 4PSA Advanced Statistics:

  1. Log in to your server using SSH from Linux or Putty from Windows. You have to be logged in as root in order to install the program.

  2. Create a directory named /usr/local/src.

  3. Decompress and untar the distribution file in the previously created /usr/local/src folder by typing:

    tar -zxf integratorXXX_buildXXXXXX.XX_OSPleskX.tar.gz

    The program will extract a directory which contains the installation script. Change to this directory.

  4. Execute the install.sh installation script by typing:

    sh install.sh

    Next, follow the instructions on screen.

FreeBSD

In this case, you must download the 4PSA Advanced Statistics installation script from the Clients area.

Note

If you want to install the engine on the same machine, you must first install the engine and then execute the 4PSA Advanced Statistics installer.

Follow the instructions below to install 4PSA Advanced Statistics:

  1. Log in to your server using SSH from Linux or Putty from Windows. You have to be logged in as root in order to install the program.

After Installation

When you install the product for the first time no client is allowed to access 4PSA Advanced Statistics.

In order to give access rights to your customers you must login in Plesk as admin and click on 4PSA Advanced Statistics button available in the navigation area. Then check the Permissions area to give manage permissions to your clients.

Upgrade

In order to upgrade the system you must execute the same steps like in the product installation (described above).

Compatibility

4PSA Advanced Statistics 2.0.0 is compatible with Plesk 8.0.0 for Linux/Unix and newer versions. The software is compatible with the following operating systems:
